With the production of Blake Mevis, The song was released in early 1984, on April 14, 1984, it reached # 1 on the U.S Hot Country Songs charts, remaining on the charts for a total of 14 weeks. On the Canadian RPM Country Tracks charts, it peaked at # 16. It was the third and last number one, in The Kendalls’ career.
