In the recording session of the album Jim was accompanied by: Doyle Grisham (electric guitar and steel), Bill Holmes (bass), Richie Simpson (drums and percussion), Gary prim (keyboards and synthesizers), Paul Garvin (harmonica), Sam levine (sax), Hurshel Wigington, Louis Nunley, Lisa Silver and Diana Tidwell (Background vocals). With the production of Don Tolle, the song was released in October 1984. The song reached number #16 on the charts of US Hot Country Songs, and number #33 on the Canadian RPM Country Tracks charts.
